Position Overview

K&S Staffing Solutions is seeking a Beekeeper Assistant to support a growing, large-scale apiary operation. This is a hands-on, outdoor role ideal for individuals who enjoy physical work, agriculture, and learning specialized skills in beekeeping and honey production.

You will assist the Apiary Manager in all aspects of hive management, pollination preparation, and honey processing while helping maintain equipment and ensure the health and productivity of bee colonies.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare bees and beekeeping equipment for daily operations
• Assist in preparing colonies for pollination work
• Load and unload beehives for transport and placement
• Split and manage bee colonies to promote hive growth
• Feed and medicate bees as needed
• Monitor hive health and productivity
• Maintain, repair, and build bee boxes and equipment
• Assist with honey processing and food handling procedures
• Support general apiary operations and daily tasks as needed
• Maintain accurate records of hive activity and conditions

Requirements

• Comfortable working around bees (no fear and not allergic)
