-Use wire to tie material to bow racks, universal racks, or other tooling to prepare for the pickling tanks using specific training methods for the galvanizing process.

-Use rope to lift and prepare material for the pickling tanks using specific training methods for galvanizing process.

-Operates and visually inspects all equipment (i.e., forklifts, cranes, tooling, etc.) prior to usage to ensure no maintenance is needed.

-Learns to rack a variety of materials by assisting others.

-Racks, un-racks or cleans material in order as directed.

-May learn to use a torch to dry materials before hot dipping.

-May clean material using grinder, file, or brush as specified by customer.

-Inspects material for sags, runs, drips, bare spots and reports it to management.

-Uses bolt cutters to remove wire from product and tooling and disposes of it per established procedures.

-Learns to inspect materials for holes, smothered spots, etc.

-Perform housekeeping activities to keep production area and equipment clean and organized.

-Confers with supervisors to report material conditions that could result in production or customer problems by form of damage or quality issues.

-Required to wear protective equipment, follow safety rules and all company policies and procedures.

This position is located on Longley Lane, Reno, NV. All Temp Hires start their first shift at the HR office. HR will provide you with a stamp for tracking your work, a fob to enter the building and directions to their work location.

PRIMARY DUTIES

For Production Operator:

-Perform routine production duties and preventative maintenance

-Adherence to product quality standards and procedures

-Work in a production environment assembling laboratory devices or operating machinery

-Interact effectively with all support groups and fellow employees

-Requires excellent hand-eye coordination, attention to detail, high efficiency, and ability to follow process instructions

-Technician work with the use of hand tools, tweezers, and other light machinery

-Assemble equipment according to blueprint and schematics correctly

For Processing Technician:

-Responsible for daily operation of injection molding machines, OEM and third-party automation machines and associated standalone equipment.

-Responds to and troubleshoots machine errors to identify root cause and implements resolution actions with an emphasis on reduction of machine downtime.

-Ensures injection molding and automation machines have adequate supply of raw material to allow for continuous operations.

-Completes daily documentation pertaining to daily activities, downtime tracking, quality-related testing, and shift output efficiency.

-Performs support functions in a manual capacity on production lines without fully automated processes.

-Responsible for the timely completion and adequacy of assigned tasks for performance and compliance with company policies, procedures, standards and associated instructional guides.

-Responsible for maintaining the cleanliness of the cleanroom to meet standards and Hamilton Company procedures.

-Accountable for regular and consistent attendance

JOB QUALIFICATIONS

For Production Operator:

-Ability to work accurately in a fast-paced assembly environment to meet quality and quantity quotas

-Experience using diagrams or blueprints, and follow other written or verbal instructions

-Mechanically inclined with good dexterity - able to use both hand and power tools

-Able to quality check finished product and send unsatisfactory items to rework

-Proven experience with safe production practices
