E&I Technician (Electrical & Instrumentation Technician)

Power Plant or Industrial Facility Experience Preferred


General Summary

The E&I Technician maintains, troubleshoots, and repairs electrical, instrumentation, and control systems to ensure safe and reliable plant operation.


Key Responsibilities

  • Inspect, test, repair, and maintain control, electrical, and instrumentation systems

  • Perform preventative maintenance on major equipment and backup systems

  • Troubleshoot and make configuration changes to the plant’s Distributed Control System (DCS)

  • Maintain accurate logs, diagrams, equipment records, and technical documentation

  • Assist with inventory, spare parts orders, and outage planning

  • Repair or replace motors, generators, transformers, wiring, switches, and related equipment

  • Maintain emissions monitoring equipment

  • Analyze technical data and complete required reports

  • Support plant startup/shutdown activities, including turbine and auxiliary equipment

  • Work safely and collaboratively with operations and maintenance teams

  • Participate in safety programs and required training

 

 

 


  • Support overtime, call-outs, and outage work as needed


Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent (technical coursework or degree preferred)

  • Power Plant or Industrial Facility experience preferred

  • 5+ years of related E&I or power plant instrumentation experience (PLC, ABB, Bailey DCS a plus)

  • Strong understanding of IC&E systems and ability to read electrical/mechanical drawings

  • Competent with computer diagnostic tools and software

  • Strong problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills

  • Ability to work independently and respond quickly to emergencies

  • Must follow all safety and environmental regulations


Physical & Working Conditions

  • Work indoors/outdoors in extreme temperatures

  • Exposure to dust, ash, vibration, loud noise, and moving mechanical parts

  • Ability to lift 35–100 lbs

  • Standing, climbing, working at heights, and entering confined spaces required

  • Use of PPE (hard hat, respirator, safety glasses, gloves, etc.)

  • May work with hazardous materials

  • Must pass post-offer drug screen and physical exam

Summary

As a Driver, you will safely operate a company truck to deliver products to customers. You’ll load and unload materials, check orders for accuracy, follow all safety rules, and provide friendly service.


What You Will Do

  • Drive a company truck to deliver products to customers.
  • Load and unload goods using pallet jacks, forklifts, or by hand.
  • Check deliveries to make sure the correct products are loaded and delivered.
  • Collect payments when required.
  • Keep accurate delivery logs and follow all DOT regulations.
  • Inspect the truck daily (tires, brakes, lights, oil, etc.).
  • Follow all safety rules and company policies.
  • Keep equipment clean and in good condition.

What We’re Looking For

Position Overview:

We’re hiring Distribution Operators to join shipping and receiving departments in Reno NV, 89502. Team members will work as Distribution Operator for Turret, Dock Stocker, Order Picker, Electric Pallet Jacks & Reach Lift and other powered industrial equipment to move, stock, and prepare merchandise for shipment.

This role offers opportunities to cross-train, lead small teams, and advance into specialized or supervisory functions within the warehouse.

All applicants must have a valid OSHA-compliant forklift certification to operate forklifts and other Powered Industrial Trucks (PIT).

Key Responsibilities:

  • Operate all machinery and PIT safely and efficiently.
  • Perform core warehouse functions: loading, unloading, picking, replenishing, put-away, and staging products.

  • Cross-train in areas such as small parcel, returns, rework, and display building.
  • Support advanced functions when needed, including damage/returns, import crews, or leading small teams.

  • Must pass and maintain industrial lift truck certification.
  • 1+ year experience operating cherry pickers and pallet jacks (required).
  • High School Diploma or GED recommended.
  • Prior experience in distribution, warehouse, or shipping operations.
  • Knowledge of WMS, RF scanners, and inventory/order systems.
  • Strong attention to detail, safety, and teamwork.
  • Must be able to push, pull, and lift up to 55 lbs continuously; up to 100 lbs with assistance.

We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Property Restoration Estimator with strong Xactimate experience to join our team. This position is responsible for creating accurate and defensible estimates for residential and commercial restoration projects involving water, fire, mold, storm, and other property damage claims.

The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of insurance restoration, construction methods, mitigation, and rebuild processes, along with the ability to communicate professionally with customers, insurance carriers, and internal teams.
