The Leasing Agent will show apartments to potential renters, lease apartments to qualified applicants, renew leases with current tenants, and perform managerial duties concerning the property as directed. 

Schedule: Mon-Friday 8am-5pm

Pay: $18.00-$22.00 DOE

Duties/Responsibilities:

·         Warmly greets visitors, prospective renters, and current residents.

·         Provides potential tenants with brochures, information, and tours of facilities and available units.

·         Consults with prospective tenants to identify requirements and budgets, then matches these needs with available properties.  

·         Ensures available and model apartments are fresh and tidy.

·         Conducts background and credit checks and verifies other references as directed by Leasing Manager.

·         Prepares leases for Leasing Manager’s review and approval; obtains signatures from management and tenants.

·         Coordinates move-in dates, materials, and processes.

·         Prepares move-in materials.

·         Creates, develops, and maintains a waitlist as needed.

·         Tours property daily to ensure it is neat, tidy, attractive, and in good repair.

·         Manages the use of shared facilities such as fitness and recreation areas, laundry facilities, and meeting or gathering spaces.

·         Assists with recordkeeping, filing, bookkeeping, and paperwork as required. 

·         Creates, develops and maintains a list of promotions and discounts.

·         Develops and implement marketing strategies to attract renters.

·         Performs other related duties as assigned.

Required Skills/Abilities:

·         Outgoing, friendly attitude and ability to make others feel welcome and comfortable.

·         Excellent interpersonal skills with good sales and customer service skills.

·         Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

·         Detail-oriented and organized. 

·         Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite or related software.

Education and Experience:

·         High school diploma or equivalent required. 

·         Real estate sales license preferred.

Physical Requirements:

·         Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at times.

·         Must be able to traverse a variety of properties with stairs and in a variety of weather.

*Forklift and pallet jack experience is a plus, but not required
*Must be a team player and very dependable
*Must be able to endure the cold. You will be going in and out of the cold box and freezer (Will be fitted to a freezer suit)

*Must have eye for detail when pulling orders
*Must not have any limitations to bending, lifting or stooping

K&S Staffing Solutions is seeking an Accounting Specialist.

 

PAY: $23.49/Hr.-D.O.E

 

Part-time Position 6 Months (or less)

 

Job Duties Include:

*Reviews of all Accounts payable transactions for accuracy according to establish SOP processes

*Provides guidance or assistance as needed to the Project manager, vendors, and organizational staff related to payables

*Investigates general ledger discrepancies or other problems as requested by entity managers

*Must be able to pass a pre-employment drug and alcohol screening

*Imports daily revenue reports for entities. Ensures accuracy for revenue and expense recognition and investigate any discrepancies in daily entries. Ensure compliance with GAAP and internal regulatory requirements

*May assist in completing payroll to include processing, transmission, and preparation of related 401k transmittal spreadsheets

*Works with the Project Manager in the month-end process by preparing assigned reconciliations and journal entries

*Defines/and/or update Finance Department SOP’s as needed

*Completes assigned reconciliation and preparation of audit work papers for annual financial audit

*Responsible for overseeing the issuance of annual 1099 forms and submission of data file to the IRS

*Ensure workflow effectiveness and follow through for assignments

*Manages confidential information

*Performs all duties in a manner that continually supports the vision, mission, values, and principles

*Other duties as assigned by the Project Manager

 

Education Requirements:

*A bachelor’s degree in accounting or business is preferred

 

Experience and knowledge requirements:

*Minimum of 5 year’s experience of accounting or related progressive experience

*A strong understanding of the principles and practices of employee supervision, along w/ a strong combination of written and verbal communication skills to write, read, and comprehend written correspondence, concurrent with the ability to effectively communicate with guests and team members of the organization is required.

*The ability to perform job functions in an atmosphere where priorities and deadlines may change frequently

*Strong computer skills, concurrent with demonstrated knowledge of Microsoft Office applications and online accounting systems are preferred

 

Physical Requirements:

Accounting Specialist – Property Management

We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Accounting Specialist to join our growing property management team. This position is ideal for someone with strong organizational skills, a customer-focused mindset, and experience working in a fast-paced office environment.

  • Assist with rent postings, reconciliations, and financial reporting

  • Respond to tenant and client inquiries with professionalism and efficiency
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial and tenant records

Qualifications:

  • Prior accounting experience preferred, ideally within property management
  • Experience with AppFolio is strongly preferred
  • Strong administrative and organizational skills
  • Excellent customer service and communication abilities
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook)
  • Dependable, punctual, and able to manage multiple priorities
